Exceed in Easy Courses or Stuggle in Advanced Courses?

The Question every High School student dreads to answer. When school starts up in the fall, many students wonder what type of classes to take.
Do we take an easy class and do exceptional or take a more rigorous course and struggle all year?

What looks better on a transcript? Why is scheduling so hard? LET'S DO SOME COMPARING!
Pro's of Rigorous Courses:
• Colleges like to see an attempt
• If you can pull through, you'll be awe-some!
• Taking AP classes can give you college credit!!


Con's of Rigorous Courses:
• You'll probably have homework. Everyday. All year.
• Easy classes will have HALF the load you've got
• Everyone will expect something wonderful from you

The verdict? Depends on the student. If you believe you can do it, do it and succeed! If you know you won't be able to dish it, save yourself and your GPA.

Bienvenidos a Argentina: Be Kind to Yourself

Today marks the end of 2017's first full week! I hope the year is off to a rejuvinating start for everyone. Oh, and today also marks the end of my first week in Buenos Aires, Argentina! For those of you who don't know, I'll be interning here until the end of March. As any journalist would, I definitely did my homework on Argentina before getting here. The food, the music, the culture at large - and how I would fit in with it. As with any place, there's a variety of experiences people had. Here are some of mine, as well as thoughts and some photos I took along the way. Being in Argentina has already showed me the beauty in slowing down.
