You're gonna love today's post. It'll make you feel SO better about yourself! Breezing through Twitter the other day, so happy about what I found. THE cutest website, Hello Perfect!

No, this isn't another website telling you how you should look and how you should dress. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Hello Perfect to me is a message to embrace yourself, and your beauty.

Television, magazines, and music constantly put messages into our minds that Beautiful is hard to attain. Whether it's "be skinny", "be tall", "ACNE IS BAD", we're pounded with pressure everyday.

Hello Perfect washes this pressure away, here's what I especially love:

  • It allows YOU to define perfect, whether it's freckles or short hair.
  • The "celebrities" that are showcased are REAL celebs, doing things in their communities for the good of others.
  • All of you future designers can sell your merchandise on the website!
  • If you comment or ask a question, Alexa (the creator) personally replies... that shows that she truly cares about this... and us :)
  • **Favorite part** The Dream Catchers section!! It showcases young people like you and I who are doing any and everything to reach their dreams. Basically the same thing that I do here!

Bienvenidos a Argentina: Be Kind to Yourself

Today marks the end of 2017's first full week! I hope the year is off to a rejuvinating start for everyone. Oh, and today also marks the end of my first week in Buenos Aires, Argentina! For those of you who don't know, I'll be interning here until the end of March. As any journalist would, I definitely did my homework on Argentina before getting here. The food, the music, the culture at large - and how I would fit in with it. As with any place, there's a variety of experiences people had. Here are some of mine, as well as thoughts and some photos I took along the way. Being in Argentina has already showed me the beauty in slowing down. In the U.S., and ESPECIALLY at universities like Northwestern, it is extremely normalized to stay busy and moving at 300000 mph. If we're idle, we're being inefficient.
