Today's song is kind of an "old flare meets new blast" song, and although it has become pretty mainstream, it doesn't get half as much radio time as, per se, as What's My Name , it's just as good as a song. And catchy too! Brandy is still 'da bomb, regardless of the last time she made a song. Actually, she's an even bigger bomb because she can come back to the game after a break and the first song she comes back with is a hit! You go Brandy! And Chris Brown on the track? No, not BFB, the popular song by Victoria Justice, something different. IFB, which stands for Independent Fashion Bloggers is hot hot hot and I as a blogger will be keeping up with their tips and tricks for a while. The website consists of all types of help for fashion bloggers, and even for those who aren't specifically fashion like me, this site is STILL a ton of help! There are all types of networking tips, topic help, and not to mention it's a website crafted for fashion (did I mention it was hot hot hot?)! I highly reccomend that if you are a fashion blogger, or just a blogger, or even a lover of fashion, that you don't sleep on IFB. And hey, you might see me on there one day........... It's a stretch, but you just might. XOXO -S

My blogging buddy and great friend Alexis has finally (haha) posted her interview with me on her blog ! I have to say that it was a bit weird being on the other side of the interviewing table ha. Wassup Dudes?? Ha ha, disregard that. So do you guys remember the post I made when I was all like "Omg, I love high waisted shorts! I have to buy some!" Well, I went to go shopping for a pair....and they were a whopping $60 bucks! NO WAY JOSE! Then I had a brain blast..."Why don't I make my own?" And before you know it, I was searching through my closet for some jeans I could use! I ended up finding a pair of Levi's that I bought a while ago. They were perfect, because they were "tummy savers" (which I didn't know when I bought them) so the zipper was longer than usual...making them perfect for high waisites! Here is my tutorial on how to do your own: Step 1: Le jeans  Step 2: Take some shorts that you like the length of, align the crotch's....and draw a line with a marker/pen Step 3: Use le ruler to help cut le jeans Step 4: Cut them at an upward angle....it flatters the body Step 5: You're technical

Hey guys ^_^ How has your week been? Mine has been pretty mellow, I think it's because I leave for Tennessee this weekend so the the week is moving slowly to add to my excitement. That ever happen to you? Yeah. Anyway, the one thing I don't like about leaving for Tennessee Friday morning (other than the fact that I have to wake up at 4 am ) is that I'll miss the debut of the comeback movie of Sparkle !!! It's a remake of a film that originally aired all the way back in '76, so, admittedly, I have very high standards for it. Plus, it's based off of The Supremes!!!!! I   love love LOVE The Supremes!! "Where Did Our Love Go" and "Baby Love" are two of my favorites! I even wrote a poem in 5th grade about how much I loved them (that poem was PUBLISHED in a book FYI!!) But, back to the movie. Sparkle stars Jordin Sparks, Cee Lo Green, Tamela Mann, and many many more actors. But probably the most famous actor of them all in the movie

Instead of making three separate posts explaining things I have totally fallen in love with, I decided to compile them all into one. Here we go! DIY!  After spending all summer complaining about my lack of high waisted shorts, I decided to resort to the all knowing Google. After some searching, I came across this website on some easy yet cute bleached DIY high waisties! What's even better is, I don't even have to buy pants to cut them from! I have some old Levi's that were starting to flood on me so, I shall be using these. Also, after getting my first pair of Tom's , I've fallen in love with them! Contrary to what I believed, they are SO comfortable and I've always loved the One-For-One cause. Plus, they have that vintage look that I love. However, I wanted some Tom's that were different from all the others I see walking down school hallways (or even down the street!) I saw some galaxy ones for sell on Etsy , but they were a WHOPPING $80!

Actually this is the outfit of yesterday, but all is fair in love and fashion! This outfit consists of: -Plain sleeveless tee, oversized -Black Bermuda shorts -Blue and white TOMS shoes -Blue, white, pink, and green bandana -Cross body boho leather bag I would like to have worn some denim high waisted shorts instead of the Bermuda's, but I have yet to buy some (check out last post).

Hello y'all! What I love about summer most is the lovely fashions that come out. Well, I think I like  the heat better. Or, do I like swimming pools the most? Or ice cream!! OKAY One thing I REALLY like about summer is the seasonal fashions. I mean, what's not to love? You can wear cute tanks, pretty flats (did I mention my current love for Tom's?), and DENIM DENIM DENIM!! Summer denim is the best! And what's my favorite denim of the season (other than chambray)? Inspired by a trending topic on Twitter, something I get a lot is "Wow, you're skin is so even toned and you barely have any acne!!" Though it may contribute to the other comment I get a lot ("You look thirteen!"), I do take my facial care very seriously. I always have. So, I am going to share my daily regimen with all of you blissers so that you can go out and get the very same comments. Step 1: Nothing. Haha, jk. SMILE!! Step 2: MARK's anti-acne overnight treatment is a must have Step 3: Spread the overnight treatment only on problem areas that you seem to always break out in. Then, sweet dreams!
