Beating...

No not beating as in the violent term. I mean the beating of a heart. Now, I know I vowed not to blog about love all of the time....but what kind of blogger would I be if I didn't give somewhat of an insight into my personal life? Type in the term into a dictionary website, and what you'll get back for love is: Noun An intense feeling of deep affection: "their love for their country". But even the world's most accurate dictionary wouldn't be spot on. There's a lyric that says, "Just 'cause I love you, and you love me....it doesn't mean that we're meant to be." And I wholeheartedly agree with it. As I grow and mature, I realize that some people were solely placed in our life as a lesson. And we, being so blinded by cupid, won't see the truth until we hurt ourselves.  And too many times we hurt ourselves! You say goodbye, but I say hello! What's up with everyone? I know, I know....many of you may be ready to type "Where the heck have you been, missy?" Well, I could say a lot. But they would all just be a load of excuses. And I hate excuses. But today's post is about social media! Not how it is evil, or how it is to be praised. But how it can truly transform us. Teens and adults worldwide are participating in the social media craze, the biggest of them (to me) being Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr. But why is social media oh so addicting? You get to show people another side of you, a side they may not see in places such as school or work. Social media comes along with a lot of personality. We use them to portray to others who we are....and in turn we find out who we are ourselves. We can meet people who are a lot like us....make connections. For some, it's a rush of fun.
