Sierra: Ebullience!!

Yes, I did just say (or, rather, type) ebullience! It's because I am extremely excited about what's been happening the past couple of weeks! Would you like to know? Of course you would!!

  1. School is ending in 7 days exactly (not counting weekends)!!!! And on top of that, I am doing very well in my classes! If I can get my AP Gov grade to stay steady, I'll end the year with all A's and one B!!!I'm so extremely proud that all of the work I've put in this year has paid off. Finals start this friday, wish me bien suerte!
  2. Next year, I will be able to write for the Redford Observer (our township newspaper) and boy I cannot wait! I've been waiting for this moment since freshman year!!!
  3. I got elected onto the Public Relations exec board for National Honors Society at my school! This is the first year we've had an exec board because they couldn't choose between the other candidate and I! Bahhhhhhh!!!!!!!
  4. I also got elected to be Historian for AKA Teens (the community service group I'm in)! "Historian" is just a fancy name for public relations/journalist lady so I get to write, edit, video tape, photograph, and publish all that happens in the group! Can I get a "Whoop whoop"?
  5. I am now a Jr. Correspondent writer for Brownstone Magazine!!! About every other week, my stories will be featured on the website! I love this especially because it specifically reaches out to black girls and tells them "you can do this!"So, check me out sometime!
  6. This is what I'm most proud of: I am the official FOUNDER and president of my high schools first Creative Writing Club!!! AHHHHHH! You don't know the feeling, it's like I've had a baby! I can't wait to start the clubs online literary journal (I'll be posting the link, of course) full of raps, poems, stories...AH!!
Well, that's all folks. I am extremely blessed. Next step: Get accepted into Northwestern!!!

XOXO
