Interview With Alexis Bowens

Anxious to be a senior? Think You're ready to fill out those college apps? Stressed about admissions?
As I go into my Junior year in High School, I am extremely nervous. My top schools are Northwestern University and NYU...both very competitive schools.

I got the chance to talk to a senior who gives me the real feeling of leaving...

Class of 2012 Senior, Alexis Bowens

B2B: Who is your biggest inspiration?
A: My biggest insipiration is my church member stephanie. She was very sick and in and out the hospital all the time. Still in school she never complained and kept a smile on her face and I loved that about her
B2B: What is your fondest memory of highschool?
A: My fondest memory of highschool was my first homecoming. Despite the mean cruel words upperclassmen said throughout the pep rally and class vs. class games, it had to be best time I had in highschool.
B2B: What are your plans to make senior year memorable?
A: To make senior year memorable I have to stay on top of all my work first so that will be the last thing on my mind. But I plan on focusing on the postive things and joining clubs that I probably never thought of joining (maybe even play a sport) and to participate in the all festivites at school... And show out for prom ;);)

B2B: Top 5 colleges you plan to apply/attend?
A: My top five colleges are Howard University in Washington D.C. , SUNY at Stony Brook and Wayne State University In Detroit. My last two are Bowling Green State University and Georgia State University in Atlanta.

B2B: Top 5 majors you plan to study?
A: Five majors that I am considering in are journalism, psychology, business, marketing and secondary education.

B2B: Any last words?
A: I love the Bridge to Bliss :)
