SOTD is my favorite summer anthem. I hear this song and I automatically burst into wacky dance moves. You know you wanna bob your head :)

As most of you know, I will be turning sixteen on Tuesday! Oh how time flies. You all might also know of my Sweet Sixteen party that I had on Friday. Boy, was it a ball! I really enjoyed myself, and I am extremely thankful for all who participated. But how great of a blogger would I be if I didn't have some pointers or something to say about the whole party planning experience? So here are Ten Checklist Must-Do's for a Sweet 16 (or any big party/event you are planning) Don't try to do it all on your own: When you're having a party, the excitement and anxiety builds up and your mind thinks it can tackle the whole planning deal by itself. If you've got a theme and food, then you don't need help right? wrong. Let someone help you! It'll take a load of stress off of your big day and give others the satisfaction of helping. So if you watch Disney Channel or any type of television, you've heard of the "Shake it Up" contest going on, Make Your Mark. MYM is a dance contest (inspired by dancers off of the Disney TV show) open to kids ages 8-16 to bust their moves and get a chance on national TV! Contestants can be in a group up to four peeps and the video can't be over 45 seconds long. Winners (there are 6 winners/teams) get an all-expense-paid trip to Hollywood and get to compete in a television Dance off!! Cool right! I don't know why, but I'm a sucker for contests....and apparently I'm not the only one! My sister, Nadia, and our next door neighbor, Amara have entered! Today's song of the day is full of soul. Everytime I listen to this song I close my eyes and go to a different place. I'm also kind of in love with the artist anyways. He Won't Go by Adele is a true emotion provoking song about a woman who so much in love with a man. The twist is that no matter how much this man has changed for the bad, she still can't find herself leaving him. I know a lot of people who have been in this predicament which is why I love it...and also because Adele's voice is as sweet a fudge. Gah!

Todays SOTD is a song I simply cannot get out of my head! At first I thought it was solely because of my young sisters, but after hearing my friends sing it (and seeing it on many Facebook stat's), I'm positive that I'm not the only one in love with it. Yes! Best Friend's Brother is an extremely catchy song that I believe EVERY girl can relate to. Kim Kardashian , the beautiful, curvalicious woman that everyone know. Everyone wants her gorgeous looks. But wait! There's someone who has her looks! And she's in hot water for it... what? I know what you may be thinking, but those are NOT two pics of Kim K. Old Navy has come out with yet another extremely catchy commercial that we hate to love. The jingle is, as always, too easy to remember. But more important than the catchy tune, Kim Kardashian look-a-like, Melissa Molinaro is the model showing up throughout the whole commercial. Yep, I belive that Kim Kardashian knows that everyone has been thinking it. She's suing Old Navy for about $15-$20 million big ones. Today for SOTD, I'm going a bit old school :) Why? Some good friends reminded me today that the hippest songs we listen to today come from the inspiration from the songs of yestersday ! Lights...Camera...Action... Cut?? High School Musical star and Love is Louder representee Vanessa Hudgens has done what most people see as The Unthinkable . Hudgens was known by many people to have gorgeous long locks. From jet black to cocoa brown, her hair was definately a staple for Vanessa. Not anymore! The actress appeared at the Captain America: The First Avenger premier in Hollywood yesterday with a new do! The cut was for her upcoming role as a teen mom in the movie, "Gimme Shelter". Imagine this: You and your fiance' are at the wedding chapel. You gaze into his/her eyes and just as you are about to say "I do", one of your guests suddenly screams, “OMIGOD IT’S JUSTIN BIEBER! OMIGOD IT’S JUSTIN BIEBER! OMIGOD!!!” A bit hard to imagine? This scenario was reality for newlyweds Jeanine Holguin and Rob McCool during their wedding. The couple had Justin's song, "One Less Lonely Girl" playing while JB and SG were taking a romantic walk on the beach.   On instinct (I hope), the clelebs ran over to the wedding and...well... crashed it!  “I was actually wiping cake off my face,” Rob said. “So to see Justin Bieber was just a surreal experience.” How Cool! Channel 3.tv has upgraded on their mini shows! Introducing, The Girls Bathroom ! This series tells the story of four seniors; Brownie, Blondie, Red, and Noir,  who talk about all the hottest topics in the bathroom. Topics range from make-up and hair to love and sex. There is also a pact that the girls have vowed to keep...what said pact is?? Anxious to be a senior? Think You're ready to fill out those college apps? Stressed about admissions? As I go into my Junior year in High School, I am extremely nervous. My top schools are Northwestern University and NYU...both very competitive schools. I got the chance to talk to a senior who gives me the real feeling of leaving... Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has toppled over all of the motion pictures with a gross of $168,550,000 in its first weekend! Leave it to Harry to break a record! I can believe it though, over 3/4 of my friends are Potter geeks :)!!! When it comes to me, I'm a total Transformers fan (which had a gross of $21,250,000 in its opening week). Trailing behind in third place is Disney's Winnie the Pooh. I don't know why, but past the very first movie, I could never really get into Harry Potter. Maybe it's because I know magic isn't real? Nah. I know robots aren't real either but I love them....hmm. I do think Ron (Rupert Grint) Weasley is kind of cute, though.
