The Bridge to Bliss

 Hey y'all! So as I said in the last post, I recently got my hair braided. Chosen style? Box braids. I love them for their vintage aesthetic but also the neat uniformity that they add to my style. Here's a shout out to MY BRAIDER, SAWOO!! Sawoo finished my whole head in LESS THAN 4 hours, everyone!! I love her. Now, onto today's look. My sister is, like the rest of us Boones, very creative. In addition to wanting to be a fashion designer, she's also really really into photography. So, when she wanted to use her new Nikon camera to do some shooting, I swiftly signed up to be the subject! Hello All!! No poem today (though I encourage you to read them if you haven't already), but I do have a hair update! I'll be going back to the box braid life this Friday! I'm super happy, because I've been needing to do a protective style for a while, but I needed some time with my curls. Well, that needed time has ended and a sista is ready for some braids! Here's a pic of me last time I had braids: This was last Spring! I loooooved these braids, y'all!  It was a great time of long length, waking up later in the mornings (hallelujah), and being creative.
