Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas!
Happy Hanukkah!
Happy Kwanzaa!

Happy Holidays!

'Tis the season to be jolly for sure as we head into Christmas Eve! Soon, as we have seen countless times, the year will come to an end! But, what's special about the upcoming 2013 year is that:

  1. I graduate in 2013!
  2. I start college in 2013!
  3. I turn 18!
So as we get ready for Christmas, let's look over some of the staples of this holiday season! (that pertain to me)

#1-  Make sure you don't just get caught up in holiday hoopla, be grateful for what you have and what you get, even if you aren't super religious!

#2- Don't forget who you are! Whether you get together with family or celebrate Kwanzaa of Hanukkah, do something that gives insight on YOU! This year, I'm going to try and embrace my Kwanzaa.
#3- I had to do it. Last, but not least, HAVE FUN! Whether you head to an ugly Christmas sweater party, or go ice skating, or bake cookies for Santa, take some time away from the stress of the holidays and laugh!

There will be another post for staples of bringing in the new year soon, so keep your eyes open! Again, have a wonderful holiday season. Take the time to cherish what and who you have!

XOXO
