B2B: When did you first decide to go into singing? How important is singing to you?
LC: Well, I always loved to sing, but I found out I was good at it singing by my church choir and doing musicals at my school. That's when I realized, "That's for me & that's my passion."


B2B: You also like Broadcast Journalism, what got you interested in it?
LC: I like broadcast journalism because it's really interesting... like I love to write and read, so my dream job would be a radio personality.


B2B: You’re a 2012 Senior this year, what are some things you’re doing to make the last your best year?
LC: Class of 2012 WOOT WOOT! But on a serious note, I just wanna get involved as much as possible! Take things one day at a time and not try to over stress myself.

B2B: Tell us about your blog, LuvCookie….
LC: LuvCookie is a mix of everything. I talk about fashion, relationships, celebs, I give advice, and of course talk about my music :)

B2B: Are you dating anyone currently? ;)
LC: Currently, I am NOT dating anyone. Honestly I don't have time for boys, I'm just focused on graduating, college, and ofcourse my music!


B2B: What are some schools that you’re looking at?
LC: Some colleges I am looking into are Wayne State University, U of D mercy, and University of Chicago.


B2B: Who is your role model/inspiration?
LC: My role model is most definitely, without a doubt, Beyonce... like her crowd appeal, stage presence, the fashion and last but never least her amazing voice! It is a dream of mine to work with her one day, I would be honored.

B2B: Any last words?

Remember Why You Started

Monday started another week of shuffling through LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Jopwell and other various job boards. Another week of sending my resumé out into a black hole and crossing my fingers that this would be the "one." Monday started another week of asking for grace so that I would no longer have to dread hearing that "so, what are your plans for after graduation?" question. Luckily, Monday didn't end the way it started. Bienvenidos a Argentina: Be Kind to Yourself

Today marks the end of 2017's first full week! I hope the year is off to a rejuvinating start for everyone. Oh, and today also marks the end of my first week in Buenos Aires, Argentina! For those of you who don't know, I'll be interning here until the end of March. As any journalist would, I definitely did my homework on Argentina before getting here. The food, the music, the culture at large - and how I would fit in with it. As with any place, there's a variety of experiences people had. Here are some of mine, as well as thoughts and some photos I took along the way. Being in Argentina has already showed me the beauty in slowing down. In the U.S., and ESPECIALLY at universities like Northwestern, it is extremely normalized to stay busy and moving at 300000 mph. If we're idle, we're being inefficient.
